Wow, only two months left in the year!

November brings in the beginning of cooler weather and a time to overindulge during Thanksgiving.

It is also a time for families and friends to come together to give thanks for the blessings of the past year, often centered around a large meal.

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. The holiday's origins date back to the early 17th century when English Pilgrims, who settled in Plymouth, Massachusetts, held a feast in 1621 to celebrate their first successful harvest. This event is often regarded as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations, although various harvest festivals and giving thanks have been observed throughout history.
